During a working visit to the Lviv region, Vitalii Bezghin met with regional leaders, community representatives and members of parliament to discuss budgetary opportunities and regional development priorities.
The budget situation remains difficult this year. It is important to maintain balance and focus on solutions that address people’s needs. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted for all necessary commitments, an important step towards stabilising the state and local budgets.
The minister also thanked the communities of the Lviv region for supporting the mobile shelters project for frontline regions. The donor engagement plan for this area has been fulfilled by 100%.
They also discussed the 2027 budget and regional support programmes. These will take account of the functional types of territories and the ministry’s priorities, including school meals, accessibility and rehabilitation of military personnel.
