Vitalii Bezghin, Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, met with the leadership of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, communities and the region’s members of parliament.
“In Kherson, the value of the daily work people do under shelling is felt particularly keenly. Utility workers, energy workers, critical infrastructure employees, local government staff and military administration personnel continue to work and sustain the life of communities. This time we returned to Kherson region with a specific draft law on the status of workers in frontline territories,” said Vitalii Bezghin
During the meeting, participants discussed its key provisions and heard comments and proposals from people who work every day in frontline regions.
“Our task is to establish real guarantees for people working in conditions of constant risk. It is important that this draft law is being developed not only in offices. Its idea was born here — from conversations with people for whom frontline conditions are an everyday reality,” Vitalii Bezghin emphasised.
