Vitalii Bezghin, Minister for Communities, Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine, and Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhii Koretskyi worked in Volyn

▪️On Lutsk City Day, they participated in a meeting with Lithuanian Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius.

Particular attention was paid to cooperation between Ukrainian and Lithuanian communities. At URC-2026, Ukraine and Lithuania signed a declaration on a municipal partnership programme worth EUR 1 million. Since 2022, Lithuania has provided Ukraine with approximately EUR 2 billion in assistance overall.

▪️Vitalii Bezghin also took part in a meeting with the regional leadership, heads of communities and members of parliament from Volyn.

Key challenges included preparation for the heating season, logistics security, legal guarantees for local self-government and other issues that currently require decisions at the state level.

The meeting identified issues requiring further work and government decisions.
