The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Tetiana Stefiuk as Deputy Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine

She will be responsible for decentralisation, an important area for the development of local self-government and the effective operation of communities.

“The daily life of every community depends on how effectively this area is managed. It is important to me that this policy is led by a person for whom the voice of communities will be the main guide in their work,” said Minister Vitalii Bezghin.

The appointment of a dedicated deputy minister responsible for decentralisation will strengthen attention to this area and engagement with communities.
