The project was implemented under the Ukrainian-Danish Energy Partnership Programme with support from the Ministry and the Danish Energy Agency. Deputy Minister Maksym Stoliarchuk and Denmark’s Ambassador to Ukraine Thomas Lund-Sørensen attended the final meeting.
During the project, participants saw how energy-efficient solutions work in practice and learned why they are so important for Ukrainian communities. They visited energy facilities, agencies and educational institutions in Ukraine and Denmark, and after the trips launched their own initiatives at their universities. Teams ran information campaigns, worked with administrations to create tools for energy accounting and savings, and launched new energy-efficiency courses.
Participants will be able to apply the knowledge gained as professionals in reconstruction projects, from insulation and heat metering to modern ventilation systems that will help new buildings use less energy and retain heat longer during outages. We thank the Embassy of Denmark in Ukraine and the Danish Energy Agency for their partnership and the experience they share with Ukrainian youth.
