How IDPs can change their place of residence

Where can you find free housing? Free shelter for displaced people is provided by individual citizens and by state, municipal and private institutions.

What if housing with special conditions is needed (for example, for an infant or a person with reduced mobility)? What compensation can people hosting displaced persons expect, and under what conditions?

Dozens of questions like these concern Ukrainians today.

You can see the number of shelters available in a particular region and the number of vacant places in them on the “Where You Are Expected” platform. The same platform also provides the telephone numbers of accommodation contact centres for each region.

We offer you a selection of useful tips. You may find answers to your questions in them.
