Voucher-based training

Internally displaced persons can receive free training in 156 occupations and specialities that are in demand in the labour market.

In particular, training is available in information technology, construction, transport, education, medicine, agriculture, social services and other fields. Individuals choose their own occupation, educational institution within Ukraine and mode of study, whether full-time, part-time or distance learning.

A voucher allows free training at any licensed educational institution or employer. The maximum voucher amount is UAH 30,280. If training costs more, the difference can be paid independently.

Internally displaced persons of working age can receive a voucher. They must also have vocational, pre-higher or higher education, must not be registered as unemployed and must not have undergone state-funded retraining in the past three years.

To obtain a voucher:

1. Choose an occupation, speciality and educational institution.

2. Submit an application:

online, on the [State Employment Service website](https://www.dcz.gov.ua/), or

in person at any employment centre, bringing your passport, taxpayer identification number, education documents and employment record book.

3. Sign an agreement with an educational institution within 120 days of receiving the voucher.
