Vocational education: free education

16 October 2025

Vocational education at vocational education institutions is provided free of charge within state and/or regional commissions.

Children receive special social protection until they graduate from educational institutions, but no later than the age of 23. They receive a scholarship and live in dormitories free of charge. Meals are arranged for children who are IDPs. Where necessary, targeted state support is available.

Read the educational institution's admission rules on its website. Submit an application and the required set of documents to the admissions committee or through an electronic account (https://cabinet.edbo.gov.ua/login). Admission to a vocational education institution is based on competitive selection of applicants. In particular, a document confirming that the person is an internally displaced person is submitted. The admissions committee makes a decision, draws up minutes and announces the list of people recommended for enrolment at the vocational education institution.
