Сформовано: 2026-11-06T19:13:17.511Z (UTC) Джерело: https://minregion.gov.ua/en/reintegration # Occupied territories and reintegration ## Regional development and the issues of temporarily occupied territory The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has supplemented and expanded the list of tasks of the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine. The relevant Resolution No. 1545 was adopted on December 31, 2024. Among the new tasks of the Ministry are the development and implementation of state policy in the field of protecting the rights of forcibly displaced (deported) persons, reintegration of citizens from temporarily occupied territories, support for internally displaced persons, as well as on the restoration and building of peace and development of the temporarily occupied territory after its reintegration. The Ministry also ensures the development and implementation of state policy on the issues of the temporarily occupied territory and the protection of the rights of the population living there, the ultimate goal of which is their reintegration; on the issues of restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine within the internationally recognized state border; on the issues of restoring and building peace; on the issues of developing the temporarily occupied territory after its reintegration, as well as the territories adjacent to it; on issues of internally displaced persons, promoting the exercise of their rights and freedoms and creating conditions for the voluntary return of such persons to their abandoned place of residence or integration in a new place of residence; on issues of compliance with the norms of international humanitarian law throughout the territory of Ukraine (except for the powers to coordinate the search for persons missing under special circumstances and resolve other related issues in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Legal Status of Persons Missing under Special Circumstances”). In accordance with its assigned tasks, the Ministry for Development coordinates measures to protect and ensure the realization of the rights and interests of persons deprived of their personal liberty as a result of actions by the armed formations of the Russian Federation, the occupation administration and/or state authorities of the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied territory, as well as their family members. By [Order No. 376 of 28 February 2025](https://minregion.gov.ua/en/documents/order-ministry-for-development-376-2025-02-28), the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine approved an updated list of territories where hostilities are or have been taking place, as well as those temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation.
