More than 300 young people from 24 regions of Ukraine The young people held an open dialogue with Verkhovna Rada Chair Ruslan Stefanchuk, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Viktor Mykyta, and Minister of Youth and Sports Matvii Bidnyi. They discussed responsibility, the role of young people in the information struggle against the Russian Federation, European integration, community development and challenges, particularly in frontline areas. “Over the past three days, delegates from the Chamber of Regional Youth Congresses of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine completed an intensive programme in Kyiv: meetings, training and discussions with central government representatives. We are giving them a better understanding of how the state and local self-government work and which tools can be used to turn ideas into decisions,” Vitalii Bezghin said. What all delegates share most of all is the desire to influence what their communities become. May they always have the courage to act themselves rather than wait for someone else to change the country for them. ## Other news - October 29, 2026[The resilience of Ukrainian communities has a cost — and it extends beyond damaged infrastructure](https://minregion.gov.ua/en/blog/the-resilience-of-ukrainian-communities-has-a-cost-and-it-extends-beyond-damaged-infrastructure-aa9323f7) - October 28, 2026[Nearly 4.5 thousand streets and 33.5 thousand addresses verified in Ukraine during the III quarter](https://minregion.gov.ua/en/blog/nearly-4-5-thousand-streets-and-33-5-thousand-addresses-verified-in-ukraine-during-the-iii-quarter-b26fefb3) - October 28, 2026[Minregion will mobilise an additional UAH 4 billion for housing vouchers for IDPs from temporarily occupied territories: agreement with the Council of Europe Development Bank](https://minregion.gov.ua/en/blog/minregion-will-mobilise-an-additional-uah-4-billion-for-housing-vouchers-for-idps-from-temporarily-occupied-0a3d7717) ### Join the discussion Read draft materials and send your proposals during open public consultations.
